What Is Endometriosis?

Endometriosis is a chronic condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus. These growths are often found on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, or pelvic lining, and can cause inflammation, pain, and fertility-related difficulties.

Common signs of endometriosis include pelvic pain, especially during periods, painful intercourse, pain during urination or bowel movements, heavy or irregular bleeding, fatigue, and difficulty getting pregnant.
